BAAT® technologies find the most relevant information in vast amounts of information.

Customer service is built right into the platform.

The OpenAPI Specification (OAS) defines a standard, programming language-agnostic interface description for REST APIs, which allows both humans and computers to discover and understand the capabilities of a service without requiring access to source code, additional documentation, or inspection of network traffic. When properly defined via OpenAPI, a consumer can understand and interact with the remote service with a minimal amount of implementation logic. Similar to what interface descriptions have done for lower-level programming, the OpenAPI Specification removes guesswork in calling a service.

Bolt-on Analyst Analytical Technology (BAAT®), is a patent pending, award-winning product of BloxDB Company.

All the power of a relational database, and more…

  • Full ACID transactions.
  • Support for joins in queries.
  • Two types of relationships instead of one: reference and embedded.

The OpenAPI Initiative (OAI) was created by a consortium of forward-looking industry experts who recognize the immense value of standardizing on how REST APIs are described.  BLOXDB supports the OAI focused methods, we support code neutral formats to allow customers to build from over 30 different languages on one database engine.  Implement with the Swagger Specification directly to BLOXDB as the basis for your next great product.

APIs form the connecting glue between modern applications. Nearly every application uses APIs to connect with corporate data sources, third party data services or other applications. Creating an open description format for API services that is vendor neutral, portable and open is critical to accelerating the vision of a truly connected world.

BYOL – Bring Your Own Linux

The award winning forensic storage engine with in-memory speed and scale for any multimedia audio and video, spatial structured and unstructured data, and file storage in one subscription.

Distributed storage and blockchain is at the core of the BloxDB architecture.  BloxDB allows data to be stored by geographic rule, spatial, and speedy graph reactivity in one engine.

The edge software is 1mb in size.  Old hardware or cloud VMs running Linux are a great way to build or augment the in-memory speed. BloxDB engine moves the right data from the edge automatically for time sensitive data applications.

BloxDB is API driven for developers to build fast and deploy to scale with CI/CD tool sets.  We support web-hooks and API calls to pull from GIT, SVN, and Web sources the core application code.  Development, testing, and deployment build stages in a few clicks from Gitlab, GitHub, and many other popular repository tools.

Simplifying and controlling storage that supports 100% of audio, video, and data formats with amazing ingestion, and streaming is key to document and multimedia content management.  Future proofing storage of any media, document, or spatial content provides long term low cost access.

Hosts on any Linux server, virtual or physical, with the following minimum requirements:

  • x86 CPU architecture
  • Any modern Linux distribution with a supported version of VMWare, HyperV, NetApp, Windows 10, Docker. RancherOS, Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS 7 are more heavily tested.
    • For RHEL/CentOS, the default storage driver, i.e. devicemapper using loopback, is not recommended. Please refer to the BloxDB documentation on how to change it.
    • For RHEL/CentOS, if you want to enable SELinux.
    • For RHEL/CentOS, please use kernel version 3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64 or higher. Includes when using release 7.3 or higher.
    • For host running a local caching nameserver (e.g. Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver)
  • 1GB RAM
